Anna Faris Reveals About Struggle To Form A Relationship With her Step-Kids

Th 45-year-old comic Anna Faris has revealed her relationship with her step-children. She has spoken about her struggles to connect with Michael Barrett's kids.

Anna Faris struggles to form a relationship with two kids her husband Michael Barrett had from her past marriage. She stated feeling immature when the lady started spending time with Barrett's children and wanted to be a kid like them.

"I was listening to music so loudly; I was embarrassing them. I was always like, 'Why don't they like me? Most people, even if they don't care for you, are kind to you," Faris told PEOPLE how she'd attempted to be concerned in their lives.

The actor added, "I think I didn't give them a ton of a reason to cultivate a trusting relationship because I also think, when you're an actor, your interactions are different than with most people." Anna claimed that in the end, she understood why Barrett's kids didn't feel near her initially.

To add up, Faris first met Barrett on the set of the movie Overboard in 2018, and the two got hitched in 2021. In an episode of her "Anna Faris is Unqualified," the Scary Movie star confessed to the outlet that she was never a big wedding person and decided to marry quietly.

"My fiance is right; well he's now my husband. Yes we eloped. I'm sorry honey, I just blurted that out. I cant say fiance anymore. ," the lady acknowledged how secretive their marriage was without giving a clue about their households.

The couple prioritizes spending more time together, a year coming into their marriage. "We realized early on that we didn't want to be apart. I appreciate a feeling of consistent safety and security," the actress said.

Also, Michael joined his wife earlier this year while she was shooting The Estate in New Orleans. The show is an adult comedy about cunning sisters Savanna Faris and Macey Toni Collete competing with their cousins David Duchovny and Rosemarie DeWitt to worm their way into the will.

The project, The Estate, is now in theatres as it premieres on November 4. Talking about her movies, after her portrayal of bubbly blonds in the hit show 2008's The House Bunny, she said of liberation in getting to play the role of atrocious people.

Over time, Faris has bonded well with her step-children and has a special place in their life where she wants to be supportive. Faris shares her 10-year-old son, Jack, with her ex-husband Chris Pratt. The lady can be a mother herself.
