Emmys Winner Andy Cohen Welcomes First Child Benjamin Allen via Surrogacy

Andy Cohen started a new phase of his life after welcoming his first child Benjamin Allen. The son of the late-night talk show host was born through a surrogate. The newborn is sure a big arrival of happiness in the life of the Emmy-winner.

Andy Cohen gets the first taste of fatherhood through a surrogate who gave birth to his son Benjamin Allen Cohen.

The 50-year-old TV star is well known for hosting 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' - welcomed his first child via surrogacy on Monday, 4th of February, 2019. He revealed the news of the arrival of his offspring through a black-and-white photograph of him holding his newborn baby boy on his Instagram page.

He also mentioned that the newborn was named after his grandfather Ben Allen. Cohen also expressed his happiness on becoming a father which is the undoubted sign of the immense love and pampering the baby is going to receive.

Andy, who was sued by Jackie Beard Robinson once, announced that he was reluctantly anticipating and already started preparing the arrival of his first child during an episode of his show in December, letting the audience know that the child was something he has been looking forward to his entire life.

Cohen, the first openly gay American late-night talk show host opened up about his plans back in December saying,

Tonight, I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers, and the benefit of science if all goes according to plan, in about six weeks' time I am going to become a father.

He added:

Thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future. Family means everything to me and having one of my own that I have wanted in my heart my entire life. And though it's taken me longer than most to get there, I can't wait for what I envision to be the most rewarding chapter yet.

Andy also threw a bashing baby shower on January for his upcoming child. The Real Housewives joined in to celebrate with the host before he welcomed his son and apparently it got pretty wild. Have a look!
