Gina Rodriguez, 38, and her husband, Joe LoCicero, welcomed their firstborn three years after their marriage. The news comes after the actress was spotted on a stroll with their newborn in Los Angeles on Saturday. Rodriguez, dressed casually in a black t-shirt, and sweats, had her blanket-adorned baby strapped to her chest. Neither Rodriguez nor her husband has shared the happy news with the world, let alone revealed their baby's sex and name.
The Jane the Virgin actress was on cloud nine when she announced her pregnancy back in July. Rodriguez shared chose her 38th birthday to share the news with her followers. "This birthday hits different," the actress wrote alongside a picture of her and LoCicero holding up a positive pregnancy test. The then-soon-to-be parents' comment section was flooded with overwhelming love from fans and fellow celebs. "Yaaaaaay my love!! So much love for you THREE" wrote Brittany Snow. Gina's Jane the Virgin costar Jaime Camil commented "My heart is bursting for you two."
Gina announced her pregnancy back in July. While Rodriguez starred as the titular Jane Gloriana Villanueva, a role which earned her Golden Globe, LoCicero guest-starred as a Don Quixote impersonator. The pair began dating six months after their first encounter and were official by early 2017.

"Dating Joe was a new experience for me because I put myself first," Rodriguez said, adding, "for so long, I put every man in front of me. It is so hard because of our cultural norms that, like, the man has to be the breadwinner! And the man has to be the more powerful one."

Sharing a clip of their dreamy ceremony, the actress wrote, "May 4th, 2019 was absolute MAGIC. To my husband Joseph, I am yours forever." Rodriguez last gushed about her husband in an interview with ET. Calling her partner "the better half," Gina said, he's magical. He's definitely the better half, so I'm hoping that he'll just go on in there and pull our baby out."
