"My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions," the Black Sabbath fame explains, adding, "my body is still physically weak."But what started as an announcement of the cancelation of impending touring eventually became a statement of Ozzy's retirement from touring. "Never would I have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way," the 74-year-old writes. Osbourne, however, leaves room for hope as he shares that his team is putting up ideas to bring him up on stage and perform for his fans without the traveling hassle.

The rocker was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2020!

"My team is currently coming up with ideas for where I will be able to perform without traveling from city to city and country to country," the rocker adds. Osbourne's retirement from his touring career comes three years after the rocker suffered a fall that damaged his spine. The Black Sabbath singer had to undergo several medical treatments and three operations, the latest being in June 2022. Osbourne has been plagued by several other health issues in recent years.

The Never Say Die hitmaker underwent hand surgery in 2018 and suffered a serious bout with flu, resulting in severe upper-respiratory infection, in 2019. In addition, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2020. "It's been terribly challenging for us all," Ozzy said while referring to his consecutive health scares. Ozzy's wife, Sharon Osbourne, assured fans that the diagnosis wasn't terminal but was still troubling for the family.

"It's PRKN2," Sharon shares, adding (it is) "not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination." "It's like you have a good day, a good day, and then a really bad day," Sharon explained. Ozzy had to postpone the back end of the 2019 tour then, and the rocker wasn't happy about it. "Coming from a working-class background, I hate to let people down. I hate not doing my job," he said at the time. Ozzy's family, consisting of his long-term wife and their three children, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, have been nothing but supportive of their ailing father.
