Perrie Edwards reveals the name of her newborn Son with a Snap

New mum Perrie Edwards with her boyfriend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, finally announced her baby son's name while sharing the first photographs of the tot with his full face on the show.

Perrie Edwards, 28, was finally ready and prepared to announce her baby son's name and shared an adorable glimpse of the newborn on Instagram over the weekend. The Little Mix star had previously only shared a black and white photo of the part of a baby's face while his little hand rested on the side of his face.

In addition, Perrie gave birth to her first child with Liverpool FC player boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain about two weeks ago on 21 August. But, the singer only shared a cute photo with millions of Instagram followers over the weekend.

This time the picture shows the full face of the tot & could be seen wrapped in a woolly blanket while lying in a crib and sleeping wearing a baby blue knit hat. 

Confetti diva Perry who shared the news the following day of her baby's birth, captioned the post, "Two weeks of loving you. I've never felt like this before! Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain". The posts garnered 468k likes in just a few minutes quickly flooded with greetings from fellow celebrities & fans around the globe.

Likewise, Strictly Come Dancing cast Saffron Barker congratulated saying: "He's so beautiful."Many took their time to the comment section & share their well-wishes to the new mum. The second fan commented: "Welcome Axel! omg!!so happy for you".

"Congratulations to the new Edwards & Alex on your bundle of joy. He's so perfect! You are definately gonna make the amazing parents," said another.

Well, Alex, in May, posted exciting news with blossoming baby bumps in a series of stunning photographs-hugged his girlfriend's belly expecting a newborn. Perrie announced the child's arrival, captioning: "Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21," while Mr. Oxlade- Chamberlain who shared the same photos, added: "Welcome to the world little one."

Having said that, Ms. Edward, with her footballer boyfriend, now revealed the pair had named their baby Axel. Perrie's fans were delighted to get their first proper snap of the little one and also pleased to know the name.

The new parents, however, didn't spill the beans about his unusual name. Many fans guessed it was a gesture to her baby's father, Alex, as it's obviously a cipher of his name.

Nonetheless, just a day before the announcement of Perrie's pregnancy, bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock was also about to welcome her bundle of joy at the same time. Leigh last week addressed a message on Instagram sharing that she and her footballer fiance Andre Gray had the twins.
