New lovebird alert or just another dating rumor? Well, it seems Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart fit the first category, even though they are not completely there yet. The singer/actress and The Chainsmokers member have been spending a lot of time together; the duo was recently pictured enjoying a fun time at a New York City bowling alley. As the pair's budding romance captures staggering attention from fans and the media, several sources confirm a romance brewing between the two.   

"They aren't trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members-only clubs," an insider reported, adding, (they) very casual and low-key." From the close sources' perception, Gomez and Taggart's relationship is growing faster than we might think as an insider reveals the Rare beauty founder is very affectionate with Taggart and "can hardly keep her hands off of him." As known by Selena's massive fandom, the Only Murder in the Building actress has been single for a while. Gomez's last rumored affair was with producer Andrea Iervolino.   

As for Taggart, 33, he previously dated Steve Jobs' daughter Eve Jobs. Following a swift breakup, sources revealed that Taggart and Eve's romance was a mere summer fling that lightly lasted until the early fall. Taggart's breakup with Job was reportedly amicable. The Chainsmokers fame's romantic history includes names like Meredith Mickelson and Haley Rowe. Taggart famously dated DJ Chantel Jeffries for a year in 2020.  

Meanwhile, Selena has been startingly quiet about her romantic endeavors since her high-profile split with Justin Bieber in March 2018. Gomez and the Baby crooner dated on and off for nearly a decade and had even earned themselves the iconic couple moniker Jelena. Bieber married model Hailey Baldwin in 2018. The 30-year-old singer opened up about her romantic life and readiness to dive into a relationship during her SNL stint in May 2022.   

Insider says Gomez can "hardly keep her hands off Taggart."  

"One reason I've been very happy to host is because I'm single," the Lose You to Love Me hitmaker said, adding, "And I've heard SNL is a great place to find romance." Selena rarely comments on her high-profile relationship and split from Justin and the many speculations their breakup sparked, including the one about Bieber being unfaithful to her with Baldwin. The Rare Beauty founder dished out her love life in her documentary Selena Gomex: My Mind & Me. And although the singer didn't name-called anyone, she seemingly hinted at her past story with Bieber.    

"I felt haunted by a past relationship that no one wanted to let go of," the former Disney star said. Gomez adds, "I feel like I had to go through the worst possible heartbreak ever. I think that needed to happen, and ultimately, it was the best thing that ever happened to me." Selena has been linked with Zedd, Charlie Puth, and Niall Horan after her split from Bieber. Gomez's only public romance after Justin was with The Weeknd.
