WWE Kurt Angle underwent Surgeries to Replace his Both Knees

On Tuesday, Hall of Famer Kurt Angle posted a video on Twitter from the hospital undergoing double knee surgery. The 53-year-old former WWE superstar talked about his recovery with his fans.

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle posted a video to his Twitter account on Tuesday after his knee replacement surgery in both legs and talked about his road to recovery.

According to the PEOPLE, Olympic Gold Medalist was smirking after the procedures and joked that he couldn't feel his leg because of the epidural. The former wrestler said that he was ready to work hard to get back to where he was before and thanked everyone for their message.

As he went under the knife, Kurt took to his Twitter on May 24 and wrote," Thank you all for your prayers and best wishes for my two knee replacement surgeries today. This is your Olympic hero Kurt Angle, and I'm in the hospital right now because I just had knee replacements done this morning.

"So, I know I have a long road ahead of me and I'm willing to work very hard to get back to where I was before. far so good. I realize rehab is going to be a bi*ch, but I'm ready for it," he revealed.

" If I won a gold medal with a broken freak in my neck, I can handle this! Lol. It's true!!! Thank you all!!," Angle thanked his fans and followers while talking about his time of recovery from a broken neck in the 1996 Olympic Games.

On his Instagram account, Kurt shared told that he started PT and wants his knees to be exceptional. He's aiming higher to better himself even at the age of 53 while thanking for the amazing support.

To add up, WWE released Angle in 2020 after his tenure as a backstage producer. Since then, he launched his podcast and has announced that he's been offered new deals from AEW but has turned them down several times while being part of other companies and projects.

Angel also stated," Triple H offered me a job and wanted me to have many matches. The next offer, I think, was three matches, and then one was just an on-camera personality, no wrestling."

In his podcast, the 53-year-old ex-WWE star stated," Triple H offered me a job to train wrestlers." The idea of him joining the WWE Performance Center was as a  trainer to come down once a month to NXT. 

However, nothing transpired from it, although he likes training people and is good at teaching. Kurt believes there might be a possibility but doesn't have much time.
