Aaron Kwok Fu-shing is a Hong Kong, dancer, singer, and actor and is considered one of the “Four Heavenly Kings” of Hong Kong. He began dancing at a Hong Kong shows TVB. Later he shifted from dancing to acting first in television series and then into films. He has done songs mostly in the dance-pop genre but has experimented with ballad, rock, R&B, soul, electronica, rock and roll and traditional Chinese music. Kwok earned 130 million HKD in 2014 and is the recipient of "Ten Most Outstanding Young Persons Award" in 2003
Early Life of Aaron Kwok
Aaron is a son of Coek Seon and Kwok Zi. He holds Hong Kong nationality and belongs to Chinese ethnicity.
He graduated from St. Joseph’s College. His father who owns a small gold retail store wanted Kwok to gain experience in the business with the view of eventually handing the family business over to him. If not for one of his brothers taking over the business, his father would not have allowed him to join the entertainment industry.
Aaron Kwok's Career
After graduation, he started working as a junior staff in King Fook Gold And Jewellery Co.Ltd but was fired later. He then joined a dance training course at TVB where the judges immediately recognized his talent for dancing. His dancing was greatly influenced by the late Pop King Micheal Jackson. Kwok then started performing in the various music video and shows for other singers.
In 1987 he got transferred to the acting department of the training course and played minor parts in TVB dramas. Later in 1990, he featured in a commercial in Taiwan for Honda motorcycle DJ-1RR. He gained instant popularity among Taiwanese girls with that ad.
After his fame, he immediately entered the music industry and released three mandopop albums which included the famous song Loving you forever. With the hit of the records and his dance routine, he gained a lot of fans in Taiwan. Kwok then returned to Hong Kong in 1991 to do Cantopop which was equally popular and helped him earn the title of one of the Four Heavenly Kings(biggest male entertainment superstar in Hong Kong).
In 1991 he won two major awards, Jade Solid Gold Top 10 Awards and RTHK Top 10 Gold Songs Awards. Again in 1999, he bagged his first Asia Pacific most popular artist award.
Besides, he also won two consecutive Golden Horse Award for his role in Divergence and After this our Exile. Kwok was second to win back to back Golden Horse Award after Jackie Chan. Recently in 2016, he bagged his first Hong Kong Flim Award for Best Actor for his role in Port of Call.
Aaron Kwok's Personal life
Speaking of his affair, Aaron last year shocked his female die-hard fans by posting a romantic photo of his girl and himself holding hands in the car which sparked a rumor in mid-2015. Well everyone was wondering who that girl could be and now the curtains are up. She is now the wife of this handsome star.
Aaron and Moka Fang exchanged vows on April 18, 2017, at the Peninsula Hotel. Like their affair, their wedding ceremony was also a private one with only families and close friends.
Aaron proposed to Moka Fang in 2016 in a Ferris wheel while the couple was out on vacation. The couple welcomed their first baby girl Chant Kwok five months after their marriage. The couple is now expecting their second child as of September 2018.
Before settling down with Fang, Aaron was previously linked with Japanese Beauty queen Norika Fujiwara.
