Elizabeth “Beth” Kocianski-Copeland is a retired American professional wrestler, known by the name Beth Phoenix. She is best known for her time with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) where she was a former WWE Divas Champion and a three-times WWE Women’s Champion. Elizabeth was known for her techniques, kicking styles, finishing, and signature moves, she was a powerhouse and deadly when she was in the ring.
Early life
Elizabeth studied at Canisius College and worked part time as a waitress before she got into professional wrestling. Beth joined Notre Dame High School scholastic wrestling for her training. She graduated in 1998. Right after completion of her education, she enrolled in a wrestling school. Later she was invited by WWE in the year 2004.
Career
While in Notre Dame High School scholastic wrestling team, she was the first female varsity wrestler in the school history. Elizabeth became the North-east freestyle women's champion in 1999 and also won at the New York State Fair Tournament the same year.
She was also a member of USA Wrestling, a freestyle wrestling association. From her very young age, her dream was to become a professional wrestler.
Speaking of Elizabeths' professional wrestling career, she debuted in a match against Alesix Laree in the year 2001. Beth was properly trained by Ron Hutchinson, Joey Knight, Robin Knightwing and by Ohio Vallet Wrestling, who provided her a perfect platform to fulfill her dreams.
Elizabeth was a prominent player of World Wrestling Entertainment and Wrestling World. While in the WWE, Beth won the WWE Women's Championship thrice and won the WWE Divas Championship once.
In the year 2012, October 29, she retired from wrestling to give time to her family. Phoenix, on February 27, 2017, was announced as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Elizabeth was married to Joey Carolan, known by the ring name Joey Knight but the former husband and wife divorced in 2010.
After the divorce, she dated, Adam Copeland known as Edge. In early February 2014, they announced the birth of their daughter named Lyrics Rose Copeland born on December 12, 2013. On June 4, 2016, they announced the birth of their second daughter, named Ruby Ever Copeland born in May 31, 2016. The pair tied the knot on 30 October 2016, on her husband's 43rd birthday.
