Actor and director, Bill Paxton was the son of Mary Lou and John Lane Paxton. His father was a businessman, lumber wholesaler and occasional actor.He was also nominated for an Emmy Award for the miniseries named 'Hatfields & McCoys' in 2012. Paxton began his career in a minor role in 'The Terminator ' (1984) as a punk thug. He received three Golden Globe nominations for the lead role in HBO's Big Love (2006–2011).
Bill Paxton was previously married Kelly Rowan on 2nd October 1979 and divorced on 22nd July 1980.Then he married Louise Newbury on 12th May 1987 and the couple was together until his death on 25th February 2017. The couple has two children. His son an actor, James Paxton was born in 1994 and his daughter Lydia Paxton was born on 19th December 1997. Paxton won an Honorable Mention at the 1983 USA Film Festival for his movie 'short Scoop' (1982). On 25th February 2017, Paxton died from complications following heart surgery.
