Charlie Heaton is an American actor plus musician best known for his brilliant work in Shut In, As You Are, Stranger Things and others. He started his career from a London noise-rock band, Comanechi as a drummer from which he got a chance to tour for a year. Charlie is the winner of Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2016.
Early life and Education of Charlie Heaton
Charlie was born on 6th February 1994 in Bridlington, East Yorkshire as Charlie Ross Heaton. He grew up in a British family along with her sister, Levi Heaton. When Charlie was 16, he shifted to London to build his career.
Charlie Heaton Career
After moving to London, he joined Comanechi, a London noise-rock band as a drummer and toured a year with the band. Later on, he began his career in acting from an 8-minute commercial for a Swiss insurance company. Subsequently, he shifted from commercial to TV and appeared in the ITV crime drama series, DCI Banks starring- Stephen Tompkinson, Andrea Lowe, and Caroline Catz. He also featured in another ITV series, Vera by Ann Cleeves. He appeared in Stranger Things as the son of Winona Ryder and as a brother of Noah Schnapp.

Further, he starred in Casualty, a BBC One's medical drama series by Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin. In 2016, he was cast in a psychological thriller horror drama film, Shut-In along with co-stars- Naomi Watts and Oliver Platt which was directed by Farren Blackburn. Recently, in 2017 he worked in X-Men series, New Mutants along with Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, and others.
