Dirk Werner Nowitzki is a German professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Nowitzki led the German national basketball team to a bronze medal in the 2002 FIBA World Championship and silver in EuroBasket 2005. His mother Helga Nowitzki was a professional basketball player and his father Jörg-Werner was a handball player. In 2012, he became the first non-American player to receive the Naismith Legacy Award.
Nowitzki has dated a series of girls in the past and currently he is marreid to sister of twin Swedish footballers Martin Olsson and Marcus Olsson. He is living a happy married life and is parent of a daughter and a son. The couple are most supporting and we can hope for sure that they will never get separated.
