Dating Her Fan 

Many online relationships are mostly casual; however, few became serious. Georgina Cates and Mark Banks's relationship is one such.

Cates' current boyfriend, Mark Banks, was a massive fan of her since her acting days. So, when he found she is available on Facebook, he took his chance and sent a Facebook request. Luckily for him, she accepted his offer, and they became Facebook friends.

Banks though became acquaintances with Georgina in social media; he, however, was never able to develop the courage to talk with her online. After stalking her for a long time, he sent a photo clicked by him to impress her. To his surprise, she liked his work and replied to him and as they say, rest is history. 

The pair started talking first about the work and slowly about different things. Without realizing they were talking for hours though they were living in different parts of the world at that time.

The pair continued this routine for the next two months, however after that, they thought it was the time to meet. Thus, Mark came to the USA to visit her.

Cates denying Mark's proposal is not surprising given her past experiences in marriages. 

Twice Divorced

Cates was previously married to American actor Skeet Ulrich. The pair first met at an Academy Awards party and clicked instantly.

After a while, on 5 October 1997, the pair tied the knot and moved to a house in Virginia that by designed by Ulrich himself. After settling in Virginia, she kept her acting on hold.

After staying five years away from the limelight, the couple moved to LA. Sadly, the move to Hollywood town was not good for their relationship. Only two years after relocating to Los Angeles, the couple separated, and On 23 June 2005, the pair divorced, citing irreconcilable differences.

This was the second divorce for Georgina. Before meeting Ulrich, she was already a divorcee. The name of her first husband is a mystery.

Parent of Two Kids

Georgina shares the custody of two children with her ex-husband Skeet Ulrich. The fraternal twins Jakob Dylan Ulrich and Naiia Rose Ulrich, were born on 9 March 2001.

The 18-years old are based in Los Angeles and have tried their hand in acting. Jakob was seen in the role of Zach Stevens in the movie "The Wake," and Naiia is seen as Alex in "Due Date."

On May 22, 2019, the actress posted a picture where she is leaning on her boyfriend's shoulder, and he is kissing on her forehead. With the picture, she posted a caption that stated:

So, fans began to speculate if she has Cancer. However, there is no confirmed report about that yet.
