Puerto Rican singer and songwriter, Luis Alfonso Rodríguez López-Cepero aka Luis Fonsi is best known for his worldwide hit, Despactio. The song grossed 5.1 billion views on YouTube and earned four Latin Grammy Awards. He released his first album, Comenzaré (I Will Begin) in 1998 which reached 11 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart.
Fonsi is in a marital relationship with Spanish model, Águeda López since 2014 and the duo is proud parents of two children, a daughter, and a son.
Early Life of Luis Fonsi
Luis Fonsi was born Luis Alfonso Rodríguez López-Cepero on April 15, 1978, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is the eldest child of Alfonso Rodríguez and Delia "Tata" López-Cepero. Fonsi was raised along with his two younger siblings: Jean Rodríguez, a singer, and Tatiana Rodríguez.
Fonsi went to the Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida, and participated in a group called Big Guys. He has a keen interest in singing from his early days and used to perform at school parties and local festivals. In 1995, he went to Florida State University to study music. He joined the school's choir where he got a chance to sang with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
Later Fonsi gets a full scholarship at Florida State University School of Music with major in Vocal Performance but soon he dropped out of the college in order to pursue his musical career.

Louis Fonsi released his debut album, Comenzaré (I Will Begin) in 1998. The album reached #11 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart and was a huge hit in Puerto Rico and across Latin America.
In 2000, he launched his second album, Eterno which was even more successful than his first album. He composed a song for the Puerto Rican singer, Ednita Nazario for which he earned Latin Grammy Award.
Fonsi appeared in Britney Spears' "Dream Within a Dream" Tour in 2002. The same year he made his English album debut Fight The Feeling and its first single Secret featured Joey Fatone. After a year, he performed at Miss World 2003 in China. In 2007, he was offered to be the part of the jury for the new version of the Latino boy band Menudo.
He became the huge singing sensation by the end of 2008 as his song No Me Doy por Vencido reached at number 92 on the US Billboard Hot 100 for the first time. In November 2009, he was awarded a Latin Grammy Award in the category of Song of the Year for his composition Aquí Estoy Yo.
Fonsi has enrolled in acting as well, he made his brief cameo in the romance film, Como Agua Para Chocolate where he played the role of a friend of the male lead. Then he appeared in Mexican telenovela named Corazones al límite, Nickelodeon television series Taina. After the success of Despacito, Justin Bieber offer a contract for remixing the song, and he jumped at the offer. The remix version of Bieber reached at number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 at the end of May 2017. Later, he released his next song, Échame la Culpa, featuring Demi Lovato.

In an interview, Fonsi share, he didn't talk about his work at home and said,

Prior to marrying Agueda, Fonsi was in a marital relationship with actress, Adamari López. The duo tied the knot in a religious ceremony in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico on June 3, 2006, attended by celebrities like Joey Fatone, Charytín Goyco, Ednita Nazario and others.
In 2005, Fonsi canceled his international tour in the middle when López was diagnosed with cancer in order to stay by her side during her treatment.
