Max Riemelt, a German actor, is best known for his role in the TV series, Sense 8 as Wolfgang Bogdanow. He got involved in acting at the very early age and in Germany he is mostly known for his involvement in acting and cinema for both acting as well as directing.
Early Life and Education
Max Reimelt was born on 7th January 1984 in East Berlin, East Germany. He is the elder son of his parents, Gunnar and Judith Riemelt both of them were graphic designers. Capricorn is his birth sign.
Reimelt also has a younger brother named, Lukas Reimelt who is an actor in the present days.
Career
Reimelt was interested in acting since school days and even used to participate in different plays in his school. He made acting debut in a German film, Eine Familie zum Kussen with a small role in 1997. After he was seen in many other movies as well but did not get much of the popularity.
In 2001 after appearing in the comedy movie, Madchen Madchen(Girls on Top) directed by Dennis Gansel, gained him fame and fan following as well.
In addition, Berlin Syndrome by Cate Shortland and We are the Night by Dennis Gansel were his more highly rated movies and can be counted as his most successful work.
His hard work and determination won him prestigious awards like 2004 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the category of the Best Actor and the 2006 Bavarian Film Award in the category of the young actor.

Reimelt kissed co-star Brian J. Smith in Brazil festival in 2016 which became one of the hottest topics. The incident led to rumors about him being gay.
Apart from his kissing moment, it was also rumored that he is a married man and used to live with his wife in Berlin. Moreover, it was said that he also has a daughter with his wife but he never gave any clues about his marriage and family, so this might be a baseless rumor.
