Riko and her partner Cage tied the knot on 16th February 2021, to honor the birthday of Cage's deceased father August Coppola. Shibata made a beautiful gothic bride in a handmade Japanese black and red Kimono gown made in Kyoto which was accompanied by a huge black layered cape while her groom rocked a black classic tuxedo. 

Interestingly, Riko's parents and Cage's former wife, Alice Kim, and their son, Kal-El Coppola Cage also attended the low-key wedding event. And after the marriage, Riko Shibata then changed her name to Riko Cage.

The newly married couple was also spotted together on a carriage ride shortly after their wedding. On the other hand, while it's Riko's first marriage, it's Nicolas's fifth wedding as he was previously married to Patricia Arquette, Lisa Marie Presley, Alice Kim, and Erika Koike with whom Cage was married for only four days.
