Samuel Nowlin Reeves Jr. worked in Beirut, Lebanon, in the 1960s, where he met Patricia Taylor, a British fashion designer. In 1964, they got married after falling in love. It was in Beirut on September 2, 1964, that they had their first child, Keanu Charles Reeves. 

Following this, they went to Sydney, Australia, and had their second child, Kim Reeves, there in 1966. But they didn't last long in their marriage, and later that year they got a divorce.

Samuel then moved to New York, where he had a brief relationship with a woman named Barbara. They had a daughter, Emma Reeves, in 1980. Samuel also had another daughter, Karina Miller, with his fourth wife, Roberta Miller, whom he married in 1976.

In addition, he rarely talked to or saw his kids, especially Keanu, who was 13 years old when they last saw each other. Samuel also had a problem with drugs and was jailed several times for drug-related crimes. In 1994, he was given a 10-year prison term for having cocaine, but he was let out after only two years.

He has won and been nominated for many awards, including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Samuel Nowlin Reeves Jr was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA in 1942. He had a troubled life, marked by drug addiction and family estrangement. He was a Hawaiian-Chinese farmer who had a degree in Geology.

In the 1990s, he got into debt and started dealing drugs, mainly Mexican heroin and cocaine. He was arrested and convicted in 1992 for selling heroin at Hilo International Airport and spent two years in prison out of a ten-year sentence. 

Sadly, he passed away in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, on January 26, 2018, at the age of 76. No one knows for sure what killed him, but he had diabetes and Grave's disease, an immune problem that can lead to heart failure.
