Country music stars Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd have decided to go their separate ways after five years of marriage. The couple, who share a 3-year-old son named Hayes, filed for divorce earlier this month in Nashville, Tennessee.

As per court records acquired by multiple media sources, Maren Morris initiated divorce proceedings on October 2, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the grounds for their separation. The legal documents confirm that the couple has been living separately since the filing date and that a prenuptial agreement is in effect.

Morris and Ryan Hurd crossed paths in 2013 while collaborating on the song Last Turn Home for Tim McGraw. After initially developing a friendship, they began dating in 2016. Their engagement was publicly announced in July 2017, and they exchanged their vows in March 2018 at The Cordelle in Nashville.

In March 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple joyfully introduced their son, Hayes, into the world. Their social media accounts frequently featured images and videos depicting their family life, offering a glimpse of their deep love and mutual support.
