Career
Sebastian Bear-McClard made his debut in 2005 as an editorial assistant from the movie, Broken Flowers under the direction of Jim Jarmusch. The movie cast members included Bill Murray, Alexis Dziena, Sharon Stone, Tilda Swinton and Julie Delpy.
In 2014, Bear-McClard got the golden chance to produce the movie, Heaven Knows What through which he gained a huge prominence. The same year, he along with Joshua, Ben Safdie, and Oscar Boyson created a production house, Elara Pictures.
The movie, Heaven Knows What earned CICAE Award and was even nominated for the Toronto International Film Festival, New York Film Festival, and Tokyo Film Festival. The movie further bagged Grand Prix award and Best Director Award at the 27th International Film Festival.
Two years later, he produced another movie, Good Times starring Robert Douglas Thomas Pattison, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Benny Safdie, Barkhad Abdi and Buddy Duress among others.
Aside from producing, he has also acted in short movies and documentaries such as Buffalo Wings (2005), The Minority, Small Boy, Force of Circumstance and so on. He has also directed some of the short movies, Bottle Poppaz and Bolt from the Blue.
