Jafargholi is the son born to Karen Thomas and Iraj Jafargholi, a computer consultant of Iranian descent. After his parents’ divorce, he has been living with his mother but visits his father regularly.
Currently, Jafargholi attends the Mark Jermin Stage School on Saturdays. He was featured in Starstruck, BBC Wales documentary series that followed children of the stage school for six months. He portrayed The Genie in The New Victoria Theatre's pantomime, Aladdin.

He sang Amy Winehouse's version of ‘Valerie’ originally by The Zutons in his first audition. But, Simon Cowell interrupted him and ask him to sing another song, Jafargholi then sang Michael Jackson's Who's Lovin You earning a standing ovation.
Jafargholi reached the finals on the show, but didn't make it to the top 3 acts and ended his BGT journey at the 7th place. He has done multiple shows since. He appeared in the BBC Switch Live event at Hammersmith Apollo where he sang 'Who's Lovin You.’ He sang ‘Lean on Me’ in the BBC Children in Need Gala in Cardiff.
Jafargholi sang ‘I'll Be There’ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. In September 2010, he took part in ‘Welcome to Wales’ concert.
The same year, it was reported that he would release the studio album ‘When I Come of Age’ with Island Records UK. However, the album never got released. Jafargholi released his album titled ‘Acoustic’ on December 8, 2014, with Grinnin' Records.
