Pregnant Cheerleader Killed And Thrown In A Dumpster By A Football Player

The girl’s family confirmed that she was six-months pregnant at the time of her untimely demise. The authorities told media,
“When 17-year-old Breana Rouhselang stopped answering her phone on Saturday afternoon, her family got the feeling that something wasn’t right and called the police.”
Nicole Rouhselang, the girl’s stepmother, told The South Bend Tribune in an emotional interview,
“I’ve known her since she was 6. I just don’t understand it. She was young. Too young to have a baby herself.”
The boy knew the cheerleader through football and the police authorities maintained they had some sort of romantic relationship but the details are yet to be revealed. Trejo is in police custody on preliminary charges of murder where he is being further questioned about how the murder actually went down. Police haven’t released details about a possible motive.
As per the charging documents, Trejo confessed that he was planning about killing Rouhselang for about a week. Her mother mentioned that she last saw her when she was going to meet Trejo behind their house at 11 pm and she never returned back.
He brought a knife and stabbed her so that she'd die soon. Later, he disposed her dead body in a plastic bag and threw her phone in a river.

As per detective Gery Mullins, Trejo further stated that the deadly crime took place after the teenagers had a fight. The fight was all about her pregnancy.
The school also released an official statement on their website which read,
“We have suffered a terrible tragedy. There will be grief counselors available at Mishawaka High School first thing in the morning and throughout the day. School will be open, and we believe it is best for all students to come and be around those who care for them.”
Most of the students posted messages of condolence on Nicole's facebook page. There is also a GoFundMe page in Nicole's name for the people interested in donating for her funeral progressions.

As per some reports, more than $2,100 was collected to aid her funeral and memorial expenses since the page was created on Sunday.
As per the autopsy report, Rouhselang died because of multiple stab wounds. Her scarf was tied so tight that she strangled before she died.
Police said they will charge Trejo as an adult. He entered a preliminary plea of not guilty on Tuesday. His next court date is 19th December.
