Life of the adorable couple, Carlos, and Alexa has changed big time since becoming parents to a baby boy.

The couple who announced their engagement in September 2013, tied the knot in January the next year in an extravagant ceremony in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, at the Grand Velas resort.

The grand wedding party was attended by 18 friends and family members.

Their married life got extremely popular when they became the first-ever married couple to compete against each other on Dancing with the Stars in 2015.

Carlos and his pro partner, Witney Carson grabbed the fourth position whereas Alexa and her partner Mark Ballas were eliminated two weeks earlier.

Alexa was previously married to film producer Sean Covel. The couple split in July 2012 after two years of marriage. Their official divorce was finalized in December 2012.

 Carlos's relationship with his wife Alexa has obviously been changed since the arrival of their son, Ocean King PenaVega on 7 December 2016.

The couple shared their happiness with ET's Hallie Stephens for a Facebook Live interview explaining every detail on how their romantic life has been affected after being parents.

Alexa explained,

"He’s really just become a part of what we’ve always done and not much has changed there. You just get a lot less sleep. But I just feel so much more love now. I’ve become so much more emotional about things. I have a deeper connection with Carlos just because of Ocean."

Carlos added,

"I appreciate my parents a lot more too. Because you see how much time and effort you have to put into this new human, and then they're off at 20, doing their own things, and you're like, 'Make good decisions!'" 

Unlike many Hollywood couples, the former Dancing with the Stars contestants surprised fans disclosing the early journey to parenthood announcing the sex and name of the baby in summer last year.

Alexa wrote on Instagram,

"Ocean King PenaVega. We can't wait to meet this little Blessing. #BabyPenaVega #LilMan"

Carlos and Alexa have had made several big decisions after welcoming their boy Ocean on earth. They moved from Los Angeles to Maui just for the sake of the baby boy.

Carlos said,

"We do miss out on some really great opportunities because of that, but I think that with any marriage, the key to a successful marriage is sacrifice. Both parties have to sacrifice, and we’re like, 'You know what, this is what’s important. Now we have a baby. How do we keep that together if it means missing out on a really great TV show?'" 

Life outside Los Angeles is a big deal for the couple. However, the family of three have many things to celebrate together.
