John McCain is living a happy family life with current wife Cindy Hensley and bears a total of seven children altogether.

The senior United States Senator from Arizona John McCain; after divorcing his first wife Carol McCain in the year 1980, he married Cindy McCain the same year and the couple is together ever since.

He is the father of seven children. Working in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2016, he has beautifully balance his personal and professional life. Know more about his married life and children here. 

John McCain: His Married Life 

John previously married to Carol Shepp; a former model and also the director of the White House Visitors' Office in the year 1965. Carol had two children; sons from her first marriage who were later on adopted by John.

They maintained their relationship for 15 years until they divorced in 1980.

The reason behind their separation is the alleged affair of John with Cindy which later on, turned out to be true as he tied a knot to Cindy Hensley just five weeks after his split.

The couple has been together for 37 years and is very happy in their conjugal life. Cindy often calls her husband 'hero' and 'the toughest person I know.'

She also admitted,

"I love him with all my heart."

Though the lovebirds had a tough start with lots of controversy regarding their affair and people blaming Cindy for John's divorce they are very happy together with no rumors of a divorce.  

John McCain; Meet his seven children

John is a proud father of seven children: three daughters and four sons. He adopted two sons Douglas and Andrew from his previous marriage.

Doug is a pilot at American Airlines these days and his brother Andy is working as an executive at the family beer distribution company.

John and Carol also had a biological child; daughter named Sidney who is associated with the music business at present.

McCain and his second wife Cindy have three kids together, namely Meghan, Jack, and Jimmy; both of them are in the military. The couple, later, adopted a daughter, Bridget.

John McCain; suffered from Brain Tumor

It was in the month of July 2017 when McCain underwent a surgery at Mayo Clinic Hospital.

The blood clot above his left eye was removed via surgical procedure and it was the same time when doctors in the same hospital declared the presence of a glioblastoma, an aggressive type of tumor in his brain.

Meghan McCain, one of the daughters of the senator chose Twitter to appreciate her father as he's a skin cancer survivor in past. She said,

"He is the toughest person I know. The cruelest enemy could not break him. The aggressions of political life could not bend him. So he is meeting this challenge as he has every other."

As of now, his health is in stable condition and the 81-year-old American politician is busy with his politics.
