Sad News! Body Postive Activist and Model Elly Mayday Passes Away at the age of 30; Ovarian Cancer Took her Life Away
Elly Mayday passed away after spending years bravely showing off her scars on Friday this month.

The body positive model Elly Mayday died after a long battle with ovarian cancer at the age of 30.
After the voyage of six years, encouraging women to embrace and love their bodies, model Ashley Luther, AKA Elly Mayday, died on March 1 on 5:14 p.m.
She passed away on Friday, spending years bravely showing off her scars and sharing the struggle with the disease.

The sad news of her demise was made public by her heartbroken family on her social media account. They wrote.
“Ashley was a country girl at heart who had a passion for life that was undeniable, She dreamed of making an impact on people’s lives. She achieved this through the creation of Elly Mayday which allowed her to connect with all of you. Her constant support and love from her followers held a special place in her heart. You all inspired Ashley and we hope she did the same for you.”
The Canadian-born star Ashley Luther, adopted the name Elly Mayday as she fought her way through the industry as one of the first curvy models.
Eventually, Elly had to suffer the unbearable lower back pain just at the age of 25. That's when the ill lady started the biggest battle of her life.
In the meantime, doctors prescribed Elly with painkillers, advising her to lose weight. During an interview in 2015, Elly said;
“The doctor told me to work my core,”
Mayday also shared how hard it is being a woman and said that no one shall help unless you help yourself.
Later on, she went for a CT scan so that medics can take a better look at the affected area. Reports revealed an ovarian cyst of third stage cancer which is usually found in post-menopausal women.

Subsequently, she tried a number of surgeries and months of chemotherapy. Yes, she took the path to recovery and saw an ample opportunity of her modeling career to help others battling the similar disease.

Successfully she craved the paths of many young victims, making them realize how beautiful they are still. Despite relapsing in 2017, never did she backed off to help people and herself.
Sadly, the strongest women departed for heaven after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
