Daniel Radcliffe had a Secret Crush on Harry Potter co-star Helena Bonham Carter

During an upcoming HBO Max reunion special interview," Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts," Daniel Radcliffe revealed his crush on his 23 years senior actress Helena Bonham Carter. A franchise star also read a love letter he gave to a co-star actress.

Daniel Radcliffe, now 32, has admitted to having a crush on one of his Harry Potter co-stars. The actor, who played the main character of Harry Potter in the hit film series, revealed the new information in the upcoming TV special " 20th-anniversary special, Return To Hogwarts".

Daniels's crush, who ended up being Helena Bonham Carter, was not who people would expect, especially with their 23 year age difference.

Helena Bonham Carter, 55, played the character of Harry Potter's sworn enemy, behind the camera, Bellatrix Lestrange, Voldemort's devoted followers. Meanwhile, Helena's character, in reality, was far more complicated, as Radcliffe reveals in the upcoming TV special program.

Further, Daniel was so fallen in love with his co-star that he even wrote the actress a love letter in 2011 when the cast had completed filming the final two films. In the special, Daniel reading a letter for the first time, said," Dear HBC, it was a pleasure being your co-star in the fact I always end up holding your coffee.

Radcliffe, then embarrassed, laughs at the rest of the note as Carter asks him to continue reading. " You can share." to which Daniel responded," I can. I can share now."

"I do love you, and I wish I'd just been born ten years earlier, so I might've been in with a chance. Lots of love and thanks for being cool," Daniel continued. He also shared many of his early romantic experiences while filming the series, but Carter was far from Radcliffe's love interest while on set.

Besides, behind the scenes at the iconic franchise, there was one more crushing going on. Emma Watson, who portrayed  Hermione Granger, told in the special episode that she had a secret crush on co-star Tom Felton, who played the role of Draco Malfoy.

Watson recalled the situation, "I walked into the room where we have tutoring. The assignment that had been given was to draw what you thought God looked like, and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on the skateboard."

She adds, "And I just down know how to say it, I just fell in love with him. I used to come in every day and look for his number on the call sheet, it was number seven and if the name was on the call sheet, it was an extra exciting day."
