Eddie Large Lost Battle To COVID-19; Comedian Is Announced Dead
Another renowned persona has sadly lost his life to Coronavirus. And, this time it's Scottish comedian Eddie Large who was announced dead this morning.
Edward Hugh McGinnis who chose to be known as Eddie Large as his stage name is no more with us.
The Scottish comedian who lived a prosperous career lost his life on 2nd April 2020 from COVID-19. Large was only 78 when he took his last breath. Large's son Ryan McGinnis was the one who broke the tragic news to fans and family members on Facebook.
According to Ryan, the star of The Little and Large Show died alone in his hospital room in the 'early morning' with none of his family members being allowed to visit the room to prevent the passing of the virus.

Eddie who had to undergo a heart transplant in 2003 after suffering severely was first admitted in 2002 after facing some serious kidney failure issue.
Ryan also addressed that is father was only exposed to Corona after being admitted to the hospital. And clearly, his weak and old body wasn't strong enough to battle the deadly virus. But, Ryan proudly wrote his father fought bravely.
"We will miss him terribly and we are so proud of everything he achieved in his career with Syd and know that he was much loved by the millions that watched them every week. RIP Dad. We love you and miss you from all the family." said Ryan on Facebook.
Eddie Large left behind his wife, Patsy Ann Scott and three children. SOURCE: Bristol Post Aside from Ryan, Eddie Large left behind his beloved wife, Patsy Ann Scott, his two other children and a few grandchildren. Patsy also shared an emotional statement to honor her dear husband.
In her words, Eddie who says she talked to Eddie for a few minutes during Eddie's last hours, said: "We are all absolutely heartbroken. Eddie fought so hard to live. Catching coronavirus was the final straw for him."

The duo, prominent as Little and Large would later earn a lot of fame and fan across Britain. But, as Eddie's health deteriorated, the pair career as Little and Large concluded.
Large isn't the only celebrity to lose his life fighting Corona as actor Andrew Jack, Floyd Cardoz, Joe Diffie and Princess of Spain, Maria Teresa also died from the novel virus.
