Miley Cyrus & Boyfriend Cody Simpson Provide Community Service To COVID-19 Healthcare Staffs

Pop icon Miley Cyrus was recently seen alongside her boyfriend Cody Simpson providing tacos to healthcare workers serving to COVID-19 victims.

Such an amazing work singer Miley Cyrus is doing during these tough hours as the world is shaken to its core by the pandemic COVID-19 that has killed thousands globally.

On Saturday, the Malibu songstress decided to step outside of her comfort zone aka her million-dollar mansion in Los Angeles to show her appreciation for the frontline health workers risking their lives to save the victims of the deadly Coronavirus.

Well, it seems as the singer got tired of contributing from her home on her couch where Cyrus has been running her own IGTV show called Bright Minded where she interviews celebrities to spread positive messages to the fans and share the updates on how they are spending their quarantine days.

So far, Cyrus has invited guests that include Love Is Blind couples Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton, Demi Lovato, and Hailey Bieber. Just recently, Cyrus shocked her fans when old friend and rival, Selena Gomez popped up on the show.

But, clearly, The Last Song actress wanted to do more. So, Cyrus and her boyfriend of the past six months decided to pack 120 delicious tacos for free to the frontline staff at the local hospital, aka the Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, Tarzana, San Fernando Valley at LA.

Cyrus and Simpson who could be seen in sweats had protective surgical masks covered their faces as they posed alongside the cart filled with tacos packed in brown bags. Cyrus and Simpson also sent the workers positive messages on the packets by writing, 'Thank you for your support & love, stay strong!!!'

Simpson took to Instagram to share their philanthropic work for the fans by sharing pictures from the events along with the healthcare workers. Many fans and family members including Simpson's sister Alli Simpson praised the couple for their efforts.

Meanwhile, this is not the only initiative approached by Cyrus to help those highly affected by COVID-10 which had its origin outbreak in Wuhan city of China. Cyrus has teamed up with beauty company MAC Cosmetics in a hope to raise $10 million to donate to the organization and charities working together to fight the virus.

As of 5th March 2020, the United States has overthrown countries like Italy and Spain on the total number of people affected by Coronavirus. More than 9000 people have lost their lives from COVID-19 whilst more than 300k have been affected in the US. In total, 68,000+ have died worldwide.
