Isabella Gomez, though, shares the same last name with singer Selena Gomez but they are not related. The "One Day at a Time(ODAAT)" star was born in Colombo in 1988 to Eliana Meija and Sergio Gomez, a lawyer.

Infact Isabella is the only child of her parents. So, not only is the 22-year-old not the sister of Come and Get It singer, but she do not have any siblings of her own.

Well, it seems like Gomez and Feliz ended their relationship in not so good terms. The former couple has deleted most of the pictures from their social media account. The only picture they have shared is the one where they are with Jamie Foxx.

Isabella Gomez Earned Well At Young Age

Isabella started acting when she was just five years old in her home country Colombia. She mostly featured in commercials and advertisements. As she turned ten, she moved to Florida, USA, and joined an acting class while still modeling. 

At age fifteen, Gomez and her parents moved to Los Angeles so that she could pursue acting seriously. Luckily, a few months after the move, she landed a role in TV series "Matador." and soon after that in mega-hit series "Modern Family."

Isabella, however, started getting recognition when she was cast in TV series "One Day at a Time", as Elena Alvarez. She was one of the main cast of the show alongside Justina Machado, Rita Moreno, and Marcel Ruiz.

The show received both critical and commercial sucess. Infact the show was so beloved that when Netflix canceled the show after three-season, channel POP&TV Land picked it for the fourth season. It is the first original program canceled by Netflix to be revived on a traditional linear network.

The fourth season of the show premiered on March 24, 2020, but the filming was halted because of coronavirus pandemic. Thus as of now, only six episodes of the show are scheduled to air. The sixth episode will release on April 28, 2020.

Gomez, after making a mark on television, is more than ready to establish herself in movies as well. In 2019, she worked in the film "Dembanger" which was set to release at Sundance Film Festival 2020.
