Married Her Long-term Boyfriend In A Private Ceremony

Joanne Froggatt is in a conjugal relationship with her long-term boyfriend turned husband, James Cannon. Her hubby James is an IT director. Bob, the Builder star and her partner, dated for several years and engaged in 2011. The actress, however, said that she does not have time to plan for getting married because of her busy career schedule.

Despite having a handful of projects, Froggatt finally planned to tie the nuptial knot with her fiance in 2012. After the date for their wedding was fixed, the actress said that she hadn't sent invitations to anyone. Liar cast further said that she is going to have a much harder job of it than she thought. Froggatt added that she had been planning everything while filming Downton. She said;

“I’ve just squeezed everything in like everybody else has to, whatever you do for a living. We are all juggling work and personal events and everything so I’m no ­different from anybody else, just packing it all in."

The multiple-awards winning actress further mentioned that she is just trying to keep it all private, and she's keeping all the wedding plans under wraps. However, she revealed that the nuptials would be a ­private event for her close friends and family.

A year later, their engagement, on 6th October 2012, Froggatt and her fiance, finally walked down the aisle. Their wedding was held in a private ceremony in front of their close friends and family. Some of her co-stars from Julian Fellowes’ award-winning ITV1 show also attended the ceremony.

In an interview, Bob, the Builder actress, mentioned that she would take a break from her filming Downton to spend some quality time with her newlywed hubby and to go on a honeymoon.

Buckinghamshire, England resident Joanne Froggatt, and her partner in crime James Cannon seemed to have some heated conversation. Later, the pair calmed down and moved together to the bar after Joanne's final night starring in Alys, Always at the Bridge Theatre. While heading towards the bar, they had their arms around one another.
