47 Years American Actor Lamman Rucker Still Single Or He Is Secretly Married And Enjoying Life With His Wife?

Lamman Rucker is popularly known for his character of Sheriff Troy in Tylers Perry comedy-drama film adaptation, Why Did I Get Married and its sequel. He is also equally known for his role of attorney T.marshall Travers on the CBS daytime soap opera As the World Turns Opposite.

47-year-old Lamman Rucker Not Interested In Marrying or Has Settled Down?

Lamman Rucker has never been seen romantically involved with anyone except in the movies and series. While Lamman has been spotted with his fellow actresses now and then but much to the Lamman’s denial it has only been baseless speculation.

Lamman gave the tabloids something to work for when he was seen walking hand-in-hand with the then Amerca’s Next Top Model's contestant Toccara Elaine Jones. 

When the Essence asked if the rumors between their alleged hookups were true, Lamman made it clear that he and Toccara were just friends and he was being a gentleman escorting to her car.

In addition, he said,

Naturally, there are always going to be people waiting outside to try and see if they can make something out of nothing. Again, we're just friends.

The still bachelorette again attracted the media when he posted a picture of him and his on-screen wife, Kim Hawthorne from the Green Leaf on Instagram with the caption, 'tv wifey'.

Sadly for the people who were rooting out for Lamman to get hitched, the otherwise assumed social media tweet became nothing but a gossip fueled by the rumor-hungry tabloids.

So far Lamman has played quite a hardball with paparazzi and the people are dying to know about his off-screen life. In turn, not a single source has been able to come up with an indisputable topic entitled about Lamman's love story. And for the time being Lamman doesn't seem to have any romance going behind his screen life.

Lamman's career

Lamman's breakthrough as an actor began in 2002 when he landed the role of Attorney T.marshall Travers on the CBS daytime soap opera As the world turns. He left the show in 2005 and started portraying Garret Williams on ABC's All my children in the same year.

Lamman later became best known for his roles in Tyler Perry's films, Why did I get married? (2007) and Why did I get married too( 2010)?

Following his notable success in Perry's films, Lamman finally got his first lead role in the NBC comedy series Save me, but unfortunately, the series didn't get picked up and subsequently Lamman got fired.

However, Lamman finally got the big project to work on when he was cast as one of the leads in the drama series Green Leaf created by the network of the veteran daytime reality talk show host and a billionaire Oprah Winfrey.

Greenleaf follows the corrupt world of the Greenleaf family with scandalous secrets and lies, and their sprawling Memphis megachurch with mostly African-American members. The show has garnered positive reviews since its launch in 2015 and debuted at no.1 in OWN's history.
