61st Grammys: New Rules Singer Dua Lipa Performs An Unusual Duet With St. Vincent
An unusual collaboration of Pop singer Dua Lipa and Indie Rock artist St. Vincent resulted in a phenomenal and rocking performance during the 61st rendition of the Grammys.

St. Vincent and Dua Lipa, two of modern music phenomenon, collaborated for a performance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards that was held on Sunday night, Feb. 10, 2019.
The famous and successful audience members of the Grammys cheered along to St. Vincent's solo on stage accompanied by an electric guitar. She initially started her performance with a stripped-down version of the night's best rock song winner, MASS EDUCTION.
Dua Lipa made a charismatic entrance in the stage dressed like a doubleganger to St. Vincent from behind her on the stage. The duo performed a tribute to Aretha Franklin with a refrained version of Respect. The singer-songwriters then went on to sizzle the stage with Calvin Harris-produced Dua Lipa's dance megahit One Kiss, with St. Vincent assisting on the riffs and occasional vocal support.

The Indie Rock and Pop music sensations were not perceived as a feasible collaboration by the audience but to their surprise, they rocked the viewers to the very core. They provided a phenomenal collaborative performance during Sunday’s Grammy Awards, in fact, one of the best.
St. Vincent was in the run for Grammys in three different categories this year: Best Rock Song, Best Alternative Music Album, and Best Recording Package for her album MassEducation. On the other hand, Dua Lipa was nominated for the titles like Best New Artist award and Best Dance Recording alongside Mark Ronson and Diplo for the single Electricity.
Dua Lipa bagged both of the awards she was nominated for during the 61st rendition of the Grammys. St. Vincent took home the prize for Best Rock Song and Best Alternative Music Album and Best Recording Package as well.

According to a billboard's list, the performance falls on the top 10 performances in the 2019 Grammy awards.
