Is Maelyn Jarmon completely Deaf? How Is Her Personal Life Going On?

The Voice Finalist, Maelyn Jarmon at the moment has a famous and glamorous life. Nevertheless, she had to go through a terrible chapter of her early life being completely deaf in the right ear and leaving her with just 80% listening capability in the left ear.

It was during her toddler age of 2, she had tubes inserted in her ear by the doctor to treat an ear infection. It turned out that the tubes damaged her right ear and had her with only 80% of hearing capacity on the left. Such a tragic incident would simply demoralize every living individual.

She was not the one who would give up, she moved to New York with her parents when she was 17 and had an aim of creating original music. She gave an amazing first performance of Maggie Rogers' Fallingwater however she felt like her situation created a disadvantage in the performance. Taking it as a learning experience, she went on to release a single "Last Call" in 2016.

As of now, she is having some best moments of her life in The Voice with her mentor who is none other than John Legend. It was a great achievement for Jarmon during the blind audition as all four of the judges including Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and, of course, her mentor, Legend turned their chair for her.
