Actor and award-winning Record Producer DJ Jazzy Jeff is afraid that he might have contracted COVID-19.

On March 31, 2020, DJ Jazzy Jeff, who is famous for portraying Jazzy in the popular sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," revealed on social media that he is feeling the symptoms of  COVID-19. Also, the actor mentioned that he is currently battling with pneumonia.

In a Instagram  story, Parents Just Don't Understand singer  wrote:

"Pls say a prayer for all the sick… it’s a lot more than you know!!“I’m recovering from pneumonia in both my lungs… I lost my sense of smell and taste which is a main sign of the virus"

In the same post, DJ Jazzy Jeff, whose birth name is Jeffrey Allen Townes, thanked his wife Lynette C. Jackson for being by his side and taking care of him during his health crisis. The Grammy Award-winning musician tied the knot with Lynette in 2010 in Jamaica.

As of 2020, the couple do not have any kids together, but Townes has two sons from his previous relationship, including  "Girl Meets World" actor Amir Mitchell Townes.

The former band member of DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince ended his post by reminding his fans that the virus does not care about who you are and what your plans are. Thus,  he urged them to take the coronavirus crisis seriously and remain safe.

Though DJ Jazzy Jeff said that he is suffering from COVID-19 like symptoms, he is yet not confirmed positive for coronavirus. It seems like he is still waiting for the result.

If the result comes positive, the "Summertime" singer will join the long list of celebrities who have become victims of coronavirus. Actor Tom Hanks, Idris Elba, and Debi Mazar are in self- quarantine and are currently recovering.

On the other hand, some of the celebrities have not been lucky. Country singer Joe Diffie and "Star Wars" actor Andrew Jack have lost their lives to the deadly virus.

Though people of all ages can be infected and became ill because of the coronavirus, older people and people with pre-existing medical conditions are at a high risk of becoming severely ill.

Since DJ Jazzy Jeff is in his mid-fifties and is also battling pneumonia in both lungs, so he will be in big trouble if his coronavirus tests come positive.
