Jesy Nelson to release music eight months since departing from Little Mix
The former Little Mix star Jessy Nelson is ready to top the charts again before the first anniversary of her departure from Little Mix. Jesy Nelson shocked the world when she famously left the world's biggest girl band, Little Mix, last year because of her mental health before signing a solo record deal with Polydor Records in May 2021.
Jesy Nelson Launching a Comeback With New Music
Jesy Nelson has been teasing and building anticipation for her solo album ever since making the news official earlier this year after series of social media snaps in the studio. Well, Jessy's highly anticipated debut single as a solo artist is set to be dropping soon next month after eight months of departure from Little Mix.
Additionally, the 30-year old singer spent her last few days rehearsing at a West London Studio with a troupe of 20 dancers in intense training and is expected to be featured in the new energetic music video.
In December 2020, Jesy Nelson announced she would no longer continue to be part of the group Little Mix to protect her mental health. But her return as a solo artist is likely to raise eyebrows among her fans, and bandmates including her ex-bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Perrie Edwards.
The record label Polydor is ready to strike while the iron is hot, so they make her project successful and the first single out within the span of weeks. The music video is also expected to have plenty of choreography.
Without a doubt, Jesy Nelson is working very hard and feels really positive about this new chapter of her career. Happily, this time Jesy won't be comparing herself to the bandmates, which must be refreshing for her.
Well, many were shocked to see her return to the studio just weeks after her dramatic exit, but the star confessed that she never had any intentions of walking away from the music world completely.
"I feel like there have been a few people who didn't understand why I left Little Mix but I am now in the studio making music," Jessy told in the interview to the Cosmopolitan earlier this year.

Nonetheless, Jessy Nelson also opened up to Cosmopolitan, saying she never put out a statement of coming out of the band and not being in the public eye, performing or making music again. Jessy came out of the band because of the pressure of being in a girl band.
The X-factor winner told excited fans back in May when she first signed her solo record deal that she cannot wait for the whole world to hear what she's been working on.
