xChocoBars was born Janet Rose on November 5, 1994, in Toronto, Canada under the birth sign Scorpio. Her parents raised her in Toronto and enrolled in a local school there.

She is of Asian descent and can speak fluent Chinese. xChocoBars left her studies to focus on her streaming career as a full-timer. The information about her parents is absent from the media.
