Reason Behind The Divorce With First Wife

Andrew Barbarow was previously married to his high school sweetheart, AshLee Frazier. They were in a relationship for quite long before tying the knot. 

The former husband and wife exchanged the vows on 26th November 1997 in Fort Bend County, Texas. They were still students when they got married. At the time of their wedlock, AshLee was just 17 years old. 

Are you wondering how the pair could marry at such a young age and how their family and relatives accepted it? To get married at such a young age is against the law. Well, here is the fact that Frazier's father accepted their marriage. 

When an interviewer asked AshLee's father about the nuptials, he told that he agreed to sign off on the wedding with a hope that Andrew would take good care of his little gal. Frazier's father added, he did not have restrictions as there was no long time left for his daughter to turn 18. 

Furthermore, the other reason for Frazier's father to accept his daughter and Andrew's marriage was, if he didn't allow his daughter to get married, then maybe there would be some choices made that wouldn't result in being the best choices.

However, AshLee's father's dream did not come true. The pair began to face conflict in their relationship and shortly decided to walk through different paths after 17 months of their nuptials. Barbarow and the TV personality divorced, citing irreconcilable differences, and it was finalized on 3rd August 1999.  

In an interview with Reality TV World, AshLee mentioned that it was actually a divorce. She added the details are pretty simple. She was young, and it was her mistake to make a wrong decision in her life. Furthermore, the actress said that people face different difficulties in relationships which they successfully handle, but in her case, she failed to handle it in the best way she should have.

According to Frazier, she and Andrew decided to divorce mutually as they did not have hard feelings for each other. She said;

"It wasn't a bad breakup at all. It was just kind of like, 'What am I doing?' I woke up and I was just like, 'Oh man, I think I made a bad decision.' We discussed it and I think we both came to the conclusion that we had just made a bad decision."

Ever since the divorce, Andrew Barbarow is away from the public. He likewise is not active on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and so on. Barbarow is successfully maintaining privacy about his personal life.

On the other hand, his former spouse, AshLee Frazier, has already moved on, and she currently lives a blissful married life with her husband, Aaron Williams. Further, the couple has a child, daughter Navy Lee Williams, born on 11th September 2018.

Prior to marrying her current husband Aaron, Frazier dated her fellow alumnus of The Bachelor, Brad Womack, in 2013. Also, she competed on season 17 of The Bachelor to win the heart of Sean Lowe, where she secured the third position. Catherine Giudici became the title holder defeating Lindsay Yenter in the final.
