Brittany Wagner was born on November 15, 1977, in Clinton, Mississippi. For schooling, she attended Clinton High School from where she graduated in 1996. Later on, for her higher studies, she enrolled at the Samford University.
In 1998, she transferred to the Mississippi State University. She graduated from the university in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Studies and in 2004 graduated with a master's degree in Sports Administration.

Brittany Wagner started working in the Jacksonville State University Athletic Department in 2002 while she was studying for her master's degree. Later in 2004, she starting working at the Mississippi State University.
