On Thursday, the Grammy-nominated singer took to her Twitter taking a jab at her ex-fiance writing "for somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh."

Just hours before Grande posted her tweets, SNL released a promo for its upcoming episode where Davidson can be seen proposing to singer Maggie Rogers. Davidson says in the clip,

Hey Maggie, I'm Pete. You wanna get married?

Rogers, 24, quickly responds to his proposal shaking her head to say no and Davidson responds by saying "0-3" making fun of his failed relationships.

Davidson previously dated Cazzie David, daughter of legendary comedian and actor Larry David, and Girl Code alum Carly Aquilino.

One of the SNL fans wrote "SNL is about to milk their breakup just like they did with the engagement," which the singer liked and retweeted.

Ariana Grande and Davidson called off their engagement in mid-October following three months long engagement. At that time, a source close to the couple told TMZ that their split was amicable. The source told that both Grande and Davidson realized that the timing wasn't right for them.

The split came weeks after the Gold Is a Woman singer's ex-boyfriend Mac Miller was found dead at his apartment. The autopsy reported the rapper died due to the drug overdose.
