Grab your Tickets Wisconsin folks! "Sticks &Stones" famed Comedian Dave Chappelle is coming to Badger State with four shows this March.
Amid cancellation news of events and programs because of fear of coronavirus, fans were pleasantly happy when comedian Dave Chappelle announced that he would come to Wisconsin next week with four shows.
As per the announcement, the shows will take place on March 10 and 11 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the familiar venue of Pabst Theatre, Milwaukee. He has performed two times before at this theatre, and both times, it was full-house.
Six years ago, when Emmy Award-winning comedian announced the show at Pabst Theatre, the tickets were sold in minutes. Thus, organizers are expecting the same thing this time also.
The tickets are going on sale from March 6, 2020, at 10.a.m. and fans can purchase them from the Pabst, Riverside Theater and Turner Hall Ballroom box offices. They can also be bought online at pabsttheater.org. at the price of $69.50 and $89.50
But before buying tickets, fans should be aware that as per Chappelle's previous shows, this time also no cellphone and smartwatches will be allowed at the venue. The step is taken tp prevent recording or taking photos during the performance.
This is not the only news; Mark Twain Prize-winning comedian created this week. On March 2, 2020, Netflix announced that he is one of the comedy stars that will highlight Netflix Is A Joke Fest this summer.
The weeklong event will take place from April 27-May 3 in various locations of Los Angeles. Besides Chappelle, comedy veterans such as David Letterman, and Ali Wong, are also all set to perform in the festival organized by the streaming site.
This happy news is such a relief for Chappelle's fans who get a terrible scare last month. On February 12, 2020, a shootout took place on a driveway outside a property on Grinnell Road in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Since Chappelle owns a 65- acre farm near Yellow Springs and lives there with his wife Elaine Chappelle and children, fans got worried. Thankfully, later reports confirmed that the comedian and his family members, which include his spouse Elaine Chappelle, two sons Sulayman Chappelle, Ibrahim Chappelle, and daughter Sanaa Chappelle were not victims of the shooting and infact Dave was in London for a comedy tour.
