The four-time Oscar-winning actor, as well as a pianist Andre Previn, died at 89 at his home. The German-born musician was a versatile and extraordinary star who knew no boundaries in jazz, pop, movie and classic music.

'Time waits for none nor we can outrun it'. The proverb got applied to one of the influencing figure of the 20th century, Andre Previn who died as the death lashes over his time.

The Oscar-winning film composer, Previn died Thursday at his home in Manhattan. Andre's manager confirmed to the NY Times, that the symphony orchestra conductor was 89 at the time of his death bed but the cause of his death is yet to be released.

The news shocked the entire planet including his admirers and his ex-wives, Mia Farrow and Frank Sinatra.

After the sad news, Farrow uploaded a picture of her and Previn together and wrote;

"See you in the Morning beloved Friend. May you rest in glorious symphonies."

The accomplished jazz pianist indeed tied the knot for five times including Mia. Well, during the time of his watch, Andre made time with his wives Betty Bennett, Dory Langdon, Heather Mary Hales, and Anne-Sophie Mutter.

Along with his second wife Dory, Previn wrote Oscar-nominated films Pepe (1960) and Two For the Seesaw (1962). Prior to that, Andre bagged the Oscars for 'Gigi' and 'Porgy & Bess' in 1958 and 1959 respectively.

Most importantly, he won two other Oscars for Irma la Douce(1963) and My Fair Lady (1964) scoring the best musical picture.

Besides, the four times Academy Awards winner abandoned films to conduct musical orchestras at the London Symphony Orchestra and the LA Philharmonic. 

Remembering versatile musician Andre Previn

The London Symphony Orchestra released a statement admitting that they are deeply saddened to hear of his demise. All in all, the Pacific Symphony paid tribute to the 'great pianist and conductor'.

In addition, R&B singer Dionne Warwick thanked the composer for helping him write the theme song for Valley of Dolls.

Furthermore, the American Comedian and actor Stephen Fry respected the late Andre Previn, referencing the Morecambe and Wise sketch, while saying goodbye;

"Farewell, Andre Previn. He played all the right notes, and usually in the right order. What a life."

The opera singer Renee Fleming poured the deepest sympathy by the loss and admitted that his music knew no boundaries, also his talent and humanity as well.
