"There's nothing more important than family," says former First Lady Michelle Obama over the British Royal family drama after Meghan Markle's alleged racism within the family members.

Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry had the whole world shaken after she came forward to talk about her experience and treatment she received from the British Royal family in an unpaid interview with Oprah Winfrey last week.

And, Michelle Obama has expressed a few opinions in her recent interview with NBC on the racism the Duchess of Sussex received within the royal family and from the British tabloids.

Expressing that Obama wasn't fully surprised about Markle's experience with racism, the former US First Lady said, "Race isn't a new construct in this world, for people of color," to host Jenna Bush Hager.

But, Obama who reportedly shares a close relationship with the Royal family whom she has already met several times also shared that she hopes the conflicts get sorted out and that she "pray for forgiveness and healing for them,"

The author of 'Becoming' also noted that she meant it in a way so that the story of forgiveness becomes a 'teachable moment for us all,'

Markle told Winfrey about the Royal family members concerned over how dark would be the skin of their then-unborn son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. But, the former actress chose to not disclose the member's identity citing it would be too damaging for them.

Not to mention, the Suits actress also debunked the news how she made her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge cry adding how the reverse had actually happened. But, Markle added that Middleton apologized and she later forgave her.

In addition, Markle also claimed that it was the royal's decision to strip off their son from having the Prince title. On the other hand, her husband Harry alleged that his father Prince Charles of Wales had been ignoring his calls and that his relationship with his brother, Prince William was also in space.

A couple of days after the viral interview was shared, Prince Williams talked to the press that the British Royal family are pretty much not racist.

In the meantime, Meghan and Harry are expecting their second child, a girl who is expected to be due this summer.
