Taylor Swift is the celebrity with the most private jet CO2 emissions. The Part-time Wach Hill resident is named the biggest celebrity CO2 polluter of the year, topping Kylie Jenner.

Taylor Swift is included in the celebrity list, which the Rhode Islander doesn't want. As per reports, the top offender, the Part-time Wach Hill resident, Swift, is Named 'Biggest Celebrity CO2 Polluter of the Year.

Yard revealed, "It's no secret that traveling by airplane is the least environmentally friendly method. Emissions per mile traveled are significantly less efficient than any other form of transport; however the average person flying on a packed passenger flight somewhat mitigates this impact."

Well, Swift jet has made 170 trips this year. Its shortest flight was 36 minutes. The emissions are almost 1,200 times the total annual emissions of the average person. Her average flight time of just 8- minutes and an average of 139.6 miles per flight in her Dassault Falcon 7X 2009, which she bought in 2012.

Further, Yard revealed, "a total of 170 flights since Janaury, Taylor's jet has amassed a vast 22,923 minutes in the air - 15.9 days. Quite a large amount considering that she is not currently touring."

Analysis disclosed that Swift's jet had issued more CO2 than any other celebrity jet this year. Her total flight emissions for the year come in at 8,293.54 tons, or 1,184.8 times more than the average person's total annual emission.

Not to mention, Swift's representative told Rolling Stone," Taylor's jet is loaned out regularly to other individuals. To attribute most or all of these trips to her is blatantly incorrect."

After the release of their data, Rolling Stone contacted each of the celebrity's representatives for comment on Taylor. "Our data reveals that celebs have emitted an average of 3376.64 tonnes of CO2 emissions in just their private jet usage in 2022 so far," Yard touts.

Following the report, some of Swift's fans showed disappointment at knowing about her frequent travels on the jet. Earlier this month, Kylie Jenner was labeled a full-time climate criminal after her private plane was used for a series of short flights.

Other high-flying celebrities who received a backlash for their short private flights during the climate crisis include Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Floyd Mayweather and Kim Kardashian.
