Sarah Palin Is Revealed to be 'The Bear' on 'The Masked Singer'
The former Vice President nominee Sarah Palin is the bear in the reality show "The Masked Singer."
In the seventh episode of the reality show "The Masked Singer", one of the most unexpected revealed happened. The giant multi-color bear turns out to be the former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin.
In the episode premiered on March 11, 2020, a bear performed Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back". After the performance, clues were given that she is someone who is sick of people not knowing the true self. Also, another clue was given that she is a mother.

The clues were not much help for the host, Nick Cannon, and the panelist. None of them were able to identify the person behind the mask. Comedian Ken Jeong had guessed the bear to be ice skater Tonya Harding, whereas Jenny McCarthy guessed it to be actress Candace Cameron Bure.
Singer-songwriter Robin Thicke's predictions were a little bit close as he imagined the bear to be Tina Fey. (Remember: Tina Fey impersonated Sarah Palin perfectly in the infamous 2008 SNL spoof. Fans are already asking Fey to spoof Palin's Masked Singer performance.)
After the host and panelist were not available to correctly guess, the host asked the bear to reveal the face. When the bear removed the mask, the host of the show was stunned and said,
"This might be the most shocked I’ve ever been on this show,”
There is no doubt Cannon was not the only one who was surprised by Palin. Infact most of the viewers were equally surprised. Never in their life would they have thought to see the former governor of Alaska rapping, especially never in a goofy bear costume.
After the revelation, Palin stated that this is one of the weirdest things she has ever done, but it was all about the fun. She furthermore added that the fun and good is something that our country needs right now.
When asked the reasoning behind choosing a bear costume, the mother of five kids gave various reasons. First, she revealed that her nickname while growing up was the bear. Also, she is protective of her children and gives Mama Bear vibe. In addition to that, her native state of Alaska is filled with bears, so choosing the bear came naturally to her.
After sucessful two seasons, the third season of "The Masked Singer" premiered on February 2, 2020, after Super Bowl LIV with eighteen contestants. After the elimination of Palin, eleven contestants are left in the show. The next episode will premiere on March 18, 2020, on Fox.
