Will Smith Remixes Joyner Lucas 'Will' and Makes It Even Better
If you thought Joyner Lucas' single "Will" was good, well after an additional rap from Will Smith himself, the song just got even better.
A month ago, American Hip hop artist Joyner Lucas dropped a single titled Will, where he pays tribute to his idol Will Smith. In the song, Lucas uses Smith's most iconic movie and TV roles as lyrics.
People found the song really intelligent and loved it. As of now, it has more than 23 million views on YouTube.
As the song become prevalent, it reached Will's ears, and being the gentleman he is; the "Men In Black" star showed appreciation to the tribute by posting a clip of the song on his Instagram.
Sometime later, Will Smith sat down for a chat with Lucas on his YouTube channel. They were also joined by the actor's son Jaden Smith.
During the talk, the Massachusetts native confessed that he watched Smith's movies and listened to his music all the time while growing up. He also added that Smith is a true idol for him.
Upon hearing that, Smith was deeply moved and commented that he is deeply humbled by his statement and really appreciate the honor.

On May 14, 2020, Joyner released the remix version of Will, and the song featured none other than the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air himself. The Grammy Award-winning rapper threw some verses that elevated the song to the new level.
Smith, in his lyrics gave tribute to some of his idols. He remembered Nelson Mandela, Muhammad Ali, and Julius Erving and thanked for their contribution.

Similarly, the 51-year-old actor paid homage to his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-star late James Avery and actor Eddie Murphy. He also gave shout out his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and his three kids. Smith and his wife are proud parents of Jaden Smith and Willow Smith. The actor also has a son Trey Smith from his ex-wife, Sheree Zampino.
