Will Zayn Malik Join One Direction Reunion For The Band 10th Year Anniversary?

Fans are looking forward to the upcoming possible One Direction reunion, but will they also get former member Zayn Malik?

At least, 2020 hasn't been that bad for the One Direction as the latest news revelation shared by fellow member Liam Payne gave them a ray of hope for a possible reunion since the boys went on a four years-long hiatus in 2015.

And after all these years, the loyal fans of the UK group have finally earned some good news as this year, the British boyband will be celebrating their 10th year anniversary following their formation in 2010 at the X-Factor through the idea of judges, Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell.

And, it all started with a rumor among the fans and several tabloids when Payne and other members of the group including Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan re-followed Zayn Malik on Twitter.

Soo after the fans noticed the actions of the boys, they were quick to flood Twitter with hashtags that a reunion plan might be on the way. A few days later, Payne was the first one to finally break the silence on the subject on The Late Late Show with James Corden through a virtual interview.

Payne, at the time, revealed that the boys have been in contact lately and that they, in fact, look forward to a reunion. The Strip That Down singer, however, also addressed that he wasn't supposed to speak much on the reunion plans.

As a matter of fact, the Wolverhampton native is the one to frequently update fans with videos and love chat. Speaking of which, during one of his last chats with DJ Alesso with whom he worked on his latest duo song titled Midnight, Payne was sort of skeptical to answer a lot of questions such as whether Malik would be joining the reunion plan or not.

Instead, he joked that Alesso might fit in to fill the void of Malik's spot. Moreover, Liam also recently talked to Niall on Instagram live where the Irish one also admitted that the boys have been closer lately through group chats on Whatsapp.

But, as for Zayn, he is yet to unseal the lips if he would be a part of the plan. The Pillow Talk hitmaker left the band in March 2015 to embark on his solo career. Not to mention, he also hasn't followed back any of the members.

Meanwhile, as fans are hyped for the reunion, it's been sadly disclosed the boys won't be releasing any new singles or albums. But, hey, at least, there's a reunion.
