Deena Cortese Biography

Early Life and Education

Deena Cortese was born Deena Nicole Cortese on 12th January 1987 in New Egypt, New Jersey. She is Italian-American and daughter of Joann Cortese and John Cortese. She also has a sister, Joanie Maiorella.

She studied at New Egypt High School and attended Brookdale Community College but did not graduate as she dropped out for some unknown reasons.

Career

Cortese began her career from an American reality TV series, Jersey Shore in 2010 from the season 3. She gave auditions for season 1 but was rejected so joined again in the season two in the mid replacing Angelina Pivarnick. The series was cast in Seaside Heights, New Jersey where she appeared along with casts Nicole Polizzi, JWoww, Sami Giancola, Mike Sorrentino, DJ Pauly D, Vinny Guadagnino and Ronnie Ortiz- Margo.

In 2010, she joined another MTV television show, When I Was 17 in the 31st episode along with other casts Jenna Uskowitz and Patrick Stump. She kept on doing shows including Snooki & Jwoww from 2012-2014 and Couples Therapy in 2014 along with the stars Farrah Abraham, Courtney Stodden, Janice Dickinson, Joe Budden, Angela Raiola, Shayne Lamas, Scott Stapp and so on.

Personal Life

On 22nd November 2011, Cortese began to date Chris Buckner after their first meeting in Freehold, New Jersey. They got engaged years after their relationship in 2016 in Mexico Beach which she announced by showing her giant diamond ring via Instagram with a caption,

"I always knew I would spend the rest of my life with Christopher Buckner... but last night while we were walking on the Beach in Mexico he made it official!! We're engaged!!!!! @cbuckner_."

A year after their engagement, the couple exchanged vows on 28th October 2017 at Laurita Winery in New Egypt. The ceremony was grand as attended by all of the crews of Jersey Shore.

Besides her current relationship, she was rumored to have multiple affairs in her past. In early 2000, it came out that she hooked up with an American reality TV contestant named Jeff Miranda. When Cortese was asked about their relationship, she always denied and never accepted it in public so it is a bit confusing whether they dated or not.

In 2011, rumors flew about her dating Chris Manzo, a non-celebrity who rose to fame after the buzz about their affair. But both the parties maintained a low-profile regarding their romance.

Besides her relationships, on 10th June 2012, she was arrested for disorderly conduct on the street of Seaside Heights after she refused to walk on the sidewalk. For this, she was fined $106 for a bail and pleaded guilty to it as well.
