The former music mogul Suge Knight always remained in the news not only for his unruly behaviors but for his relationships with women as well.

Though the pair is together for nearly a decade, it would be interesting to see how many years they remain together in the future. As most people are aware that Knight is currently in jail and will only be eligible for parole in 2037. Furthermore, he will be 72 yrs old by then.

On the other hand, Kelly is currently in her late thirties, and her whole life is in front of her. There is no doubt it would be a challenge for her to wait for him till his release.

Nonetheless, until now, Kelly has only indicated that she is on the total support of her fiance. In fact, she has already got three years in jail on February 2018 because of helping Suge.

The mother of one tried to arrange interviews between her boyfriend and producers of Black Entertainment Television(B.E.T.) in regards to a documentary about Death Row. This was a violation of a court order that limits Knight's phone communications.

On the other hand, Knight has also shown quite a trust in his girlfriend. He has chosen Kelly as the power of attorney to handle deals for movies, T.V. or documentaries. Also, she is in charge of Knight's medical decisions.

Knight's First Wife Sharitha Golden Tried to Kill Him?

Suge Knight tied the knot with Sharitha Golden in the early nineties after dating for nearly a decade. The pair first met in the early 1980s at a party. Soon love blossomed between them, and they dated throughout high school and college.

Two years after graduation, in 1989, Knight proposed to Sharitha in Las Vegas. Obviously, she accepted the proposal, and the lovebirds walked down the aisle. After a while, they welcomed a daughter named Arion Knight into their life, and the proud parents made Snoop Dogg as her godfather.

It seemed like everything was right in Knight and his then-wife. Not only were they the companion in life but also business as well. Sharitha has joined his music label and started working as a music producer.

Sadly, it turns out sucess went over the head of Suge. He started extramarital affairs and fathered many children. When Sharitha found about his infidelity, she decided it was time to leave him and filed for divorce.

Even after separation, Sharitha continued to work in his company and maintained a professional relationship with her ex-husband. Sadly the bond between Knight and Sharitha is not cordial anymore.

The relationship between Knight and his ex-spouse soured in 2017 when he claimed that he was the actual target of the September 7, 1996 shooting, which killed rapper Tupac(2pac). He also stated that his ex-wife was behind the hit. Sharitha blasted Knight's claim and ferociously denied any involvement in the murder of Tupac.

Is Michel'le Suge Knight's Second Wife?

Knight tied the knot with American R&B singer-songwriter Michel'le in 1999 after her divorce from Dr. Dre. At the time of marriage, Knight was in jail for a probation violation.

After Knight was released from behind bars in 2001, the lovebirds started the family. Their daughter Bailei Knight was born a year later in 2002.

As the couple started living together, Michel'le started feeling suffocation. Knight was too controlling, which lead to depression and even attempts of suicide. Things got even worse when he hit her and dislocated her jaw.

Thus, in 2008, she filed for divorce, however too much of her surprise, it turns out her marriage to Suge was invalid as he was still married to his ex-wife Sharitha at the time of the wedding. Though there was no divorce settlement, she was entitled to spousal and child support from Suge.

In an interview, The "No More Lies" singer revealed that she do not have a good relationship with her ex-husband because of his past abusive behavior. However, she admitted that her daughter is close to her father and often goes to jail to visit him.

Fathered Several Kids

Besides Legend Knight, Arion Knight, and Bailei Knight, Suge Knight is also a father to Taj Knight, Posh Knight, and Suge Jacob Knight.

Taj Knight was born in 1991 from his relationship with a woman named Davina Barnes. His daughter, Posh Knight likes to keep a low profile, and thus much detail of her is not available in public including the name of her mother.

On the other hand, Suge Jacob Knight is one of the most well-known children of Suge Knight. He was born to Suge and Stormey Ramadhan, aka DearBlackChula. She is the author of the book My Life with the Knight-The Woman Behind The Most Feared Man in Hip-Hop.

Suge J Knight is a television personality and real estate agent. He featured in the docuseries name "Love&Listings" which chronicles his life as a real estate trainee and his relationship with his father.

Is Andrew Knight Also the Son of Suge Knight?

In November 2012, news broke that Andrew Knight, who claims to be the son of Suge Knight, implicated Lindsay Lohan in a theft case. He claimed that the "Mean Girls" actress handed him a bag with two or three pieces of the stolen items from Sam Magid wrapped in a t-shirt.

However, it later turned out that it was a false claim, and he was arrested and charged. Infact, the investigators also found that he is not even the son of Suge Knight.

His real name is Andrew Payes and was born on April 19, 1993, to Tia Rowe and Ed Payan. His mother dated Suge Knight for a short time, and thus, he and Suge Knight are familiar with each other. It is not yet clear why he chose to use Knight as his last name; however, there are reports that the Suge was okay with Andrew using his last name.

Knight's Various Legal Troubles

As eluded above, Suge is currently behind bars because of the September 2018 ruling. On that day, he was sentenced to 28 years in prison concerning the death of Terry Carter, his friend and co-founder of Heavyweight Records.

Check out the video of that incident.

This is not the first time; Knight went to prison. On February 28, 1997, he was sentenced to nine years for the probation violation. Nonetheless, he was let out early on August 6, 2001. He again went to prison in 2003 for violating parole and, in 2012, got arrested after police found cannabis in his car.

Threat to Life

Knight has been shot on multiple occasions but has survived every time. The first incidence of shooting happened in August 2005 at Kanye West pre-Video Music Awards.

The second time Knight was shot on August 24, 2014. The incident took place at a party hosted by Chris Brown at a West Hollywood Sunset Strip nightclub. He suffered six gunshot wounds in his leg, but he survived without any complications.

The Story of Rags to Riches and Back to Rags?

Suge Knight's networth in 2020 is estimated to be around $200,000. But at one point in time, he was the owner of a company that was earning in millions. So, how did a multimillionaire reached this position? Well, it involves violence and also the murder of two music icons.

Football Career

Suge first started as a footballer. He was a star football player and track athlete in high school. After graduating, he continued football and played for his college El Camino College. After two years, he transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and played for two years there.

Sadly, after college, he was not able to be drafted in the N.F.L. However, he got the chance to train with the Los Angeles Rams and even became a replacement player during the 1987 N.F.L. Players Strike.

Transition to Business

Suge retired from football in the late eighties and started investing in various businesses. In 1989, Knight formed a music publishing company that earned substantial profits, all thanks to Vanilla Ice(Robert Van Winkle).

Knight alleged that Vanilla Ice included materials written by his client Mario Johnson in his hit song Ice Ice Baby. Thus, he demanded the royalties from the song, which Vanilla Ice later agreed. Many reports claim Vanilla Ice handover the fees after many physical intimidations from Suge and his bodyguard.

From the profits earned from the music publishing company, he invested in a artist management company. Stars such as DJ Quik and The D.O.C. were signed to his company.

Death Row Records

In 1991, Knight, Dr. Dre and The D.O.C. co-founded Death Row Records. The label got instant sucess from Dre's 1992 solo debut album, The Chronic and Snoop Dogg's debut album Doggystyle. The former went on to gain Triple Platinum Status, and the later earned Quadruple Platinum certification.

The sucess of the company increased even more after Knight got Tupac Shakur to sign in by posting his bail of $1.4 million. Tupac's albums All Eyez on Me and The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory was released under the label of  Deathrow Records. After Tupac, his close friend M.C. Hammer also joined the label.

With prominent artists in the roster, it is not wrong to say, Deathrow Records was one of the biggest music labels on the West Coast in the nineties. It made $325 million over 18 years, selling more than 18 million albums.

During this time, Suge gained personal fortunes as well. It is rumored he owned 15 luxury cars including 1996 Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible, 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air, and Bentley Continental G.T. Also, he was the owner of multiple properties including a seven-bedroom, 9½ bath home in Malibu, California.

Tupac(2pac) and Biggie Smalls(The Notorious B.I.G.) Murder

Tupac died on September 7, 1996, six days after he was shot in a drive-way in Las Vegas, Nevada. Similarly, Tupac's rival, The Notorious B.I.G. was also murdered in a similar shooting in Los Angeles, California, on March 9, 1997. Many believe that Knight was involved in both of the murders.

One group of conspiracy theorists believe that Knight ordered to kill Tupac because he was planning to leave Death Row Records. They also claim he killed The Notorious B.I.G. because he wanted to divert the attention from 2pac's death.

Another group of conspiracy theorists believes that Biggie was involved in the killing of 2pac, and Knight killed Biggle as an act of revenge.

Though there are all kinds of claims floating around, none of the theories are proved yet.

The decline of Death Row Records and Bankruptcy

After the death of Shakur, M.C. Hammer and Snoop Dogg left the label. After a while, Dr. Dre also left the company because of his frustration with the label's increasingly thuggish reputation.

With all the stars gone and Knight's multiple incarcerations,  the profits of the company started declining. The income of the company went even downhill when Lydia Harris filed a lawsuit against the label for cheating her out of a 50% stake in Death Row Records.

Harris won the lawsuit and the court-ordered Suge to pay $107 million to Harris. Instead of paying up, he filed bankruptcy and claimed that he has only $12 in the bank account, $1000 worth of clothing, $2,000 worth of furniture and appliance, and $25,000 worth of Jewelry.

On June 2008, Death Row Records was put up for auction, and Wideawake Entertainment purchased it. At present, it is owned by a company called Entertainment One. Also, on January 25, 2009, everything found in the Death Row Records, including Knight's items were sold in auction for $18 million.

The revival of Death Row Records

Though Suge Knight has chosen American singer Ray J to handle everything concerning Death Row Records, including future music coming out of it but his son, Suge Jacob Knight, is also attempting to revive his father's former label as New Death Row Records. In the process, he has claimed several times that Tupac is alive.

Suge J. Knight first claimed in October 2018 that 2pac was alive and well and is living in Malaysia. After a few months, on January 2019, he made another wild claim. He  posted on Instagram

"I got Pac back in the studio. New music coming."

A day later, on January 20, 2019, Suge J Knight sent another post where he stated that he is looking for a producer to work in Tupac's new project.

When Suge was asked about his son's posts on Tupac, he claimed that he had not seen his son's post. He, however, added that Tupac had mentioned faking his death before. He also said that Tupac's nickname was Makaveli, a person who is famous for faking his death.

Suge Knight and his son are not the only people who believe Tupac faked his death. Many people believe that Tupac is alive. Among them is Las Vegas filmmaker Rick Boss.

In February 2020, he announced that he is working in a documentary named 2pac: The Great Escape from U.M.C. The documentary claims that Tupac faked his death and is living with the Navajo Tribe in Mexico. The project is expected to be released in 2021.

Upcoming Sources of Income for Suge Knight

Knight may be currently in jail, but there are many sources from which he is able to make money. It is revealed that he is planning to make biography and author Nick Cannon is already selected.

Given Knight's life is full of drama, the book is sure to be a best-seller. Also, he is open to talking with any producers who want to make films or documentaries based on his life.
