Royal Baby Archie Celebrates First Birthday; Mom Meghan Markle Shares A Video
Oh, the perks of being an adorable Royal baby! Archie is the center of everyone's attention as he turned one today.
Time flies fast as it only seemed like yesterday Duchess Sussex, Meghan Markle, and her husband Prince Harry announced the news of them expanding their family and welcoming their first son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, last year on this day.
And, fast forward today, Archie is one. In order to celebrate their son's first birthday, Markle and Harry shared a brand new video for the charity campaign, Save With Stories on Instagram. Speaking of the video, Archie is seen sitting along with his mom who is reading him his favorite book aka Duck! Rabbit.
Celebrating Archie's first birthday, papa Harry couldn't be seen in the video as he must have been the one recording the video. The family of three is currently residing in LA where Meghan and Harry finally found the house they wanted after months of hunting.
The Duke and Duchess of the Sussex collaborated with Save With Stories with the video to help the organization feed and support children affected by the pandemic Coronavirus around the world.
Urging the followers to fund the campaigns by donating as much as $10, Save With Stories cleared their message by writing, " Responding to the needs of kids during these school closures @savethechildren and @nokidhungry have a new fund @SAVEWITHSTORIES to support food banks, and mobile meal trucks, and community feeding programs with funds to do what they do best—and also—with educational toys, books, and worksheets to make sure brains are full, as well as bellies."
Archie's grandmother, the Queen also expressed her birthday wishes for her eight great-grandchildren through the official Royal family's Instagram with a throwback picture. Aunt Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William also celebrated Archie's birthday on Instagram.
Born in a private hospital on 6th May 2019, Archie doesn't use any royal title such as HRH nor has Prince attached to his name because of the decision made by his parents. And besides, it seems like Archie will possibly grow up in America instead of the UK unlike his cousins; Prince George, Prince Louis & Princess Charlotte, as Meghan and Harry gave up their senior title role from the Royal family.
Additionally, only last month Meghan and Harry who cut off ties with tabloids announced on their plan to launch Archewell, a foundation named after Archie which will be in operation after the end of the pandemic.
Happy Birthday, Archie!
