Netflix dating reality show, Love Is Blind which aired in February was wild. And, without a few interesting background stories and drama, it wouldn't have been a hit, surely. Likewise, Carlton Morton was one of the contestants that made the show somewhat worth watching. As a matter of fact, he was the only person belonging to the LGBTQ community. And, throughout the procedures of communication over the walls, Morton came across numerous women including Batten who later become engaged to Mark Cuevas, Amber Pike who got married to Matt Barnett, Giannina Gibelli who partnered up with Damian Powers, Lauren Speed who had her happy ending with husband Cameron Hamilton, and Kelly Chase who fell for Kenny Barnes.

Among all these women, Morton built an emotional connection with Diamond Jack without ever seeing her face. Jack, likewise, fell head over heels in love for Morton and accepted his proposal. Morton Finally Shares His Bisexual Secret After Being Engaged

To recap, Carlton Morton and Diamond Jack finally get to see each other after being engaged. Yet, Morton still hesitated to share his secret. And, whilst celebrating their vacation on Mexico alongside the contestants who made it out as a couple, it was only when Morton was finally ready to open up and tells Jack the truth as the couple sat by the pool.

Clearly, the situation didn't go well after Jack hears that Morton previously also dated men. And, upon the hearing, Jack showcases her doubts if she has a secured future with Morton. But, things go further downhill from there as another scene from the next day shows Morton and Jack in a heated argument where Morton calls her the 'B' word.

Not to mention, Morton even throws the engagement ring at the pool. Soon after the episode aired on Netflix, social media was fully concerned with the homophobia and misogyny. What's next? Carlton and Diamond then left the show, not making it to the wedding.

Morton Apologizes Jack On Love Is Blind Reunion

More than a year later, Netflix dropped an exclusive episode of the show titled Love Is Blind Reunion where all the contestants reunited to share their experience and whereabouts. As dramatic as the episode was, the reunion was equally emotional too, with lots of tears.

Speaking of tears, it must have been Carlton who shed tears the most. Morton reveals how hard it was for him to reveal such a big part of him to the whole world and before he could even finish his words, tears roll down his cheeks. Morton also shared a few words on the issues faced by bisexual Black men before he apologizes to Jack.

To reconcile their friendship, Morton gets on his knees and propose with the same ring to Carlton to forget the past and be his friend once again. Actually, both parties exchanged forgiveness and apologies. And, since then Morton has been very vocal of his sexuality, especially on social media.

As things didn't go well for him after the criticism and death threats from Love Is Blind viewers, Morton made a few tweets that he sought a cry of help and that his mental health wasn't in a better place. Thankfully, it was reported that the cops reached out to him and took him to therapy.

Career of Carlton Morton; Former Assistant Of Cynthia Bailey

For a lot of the viewers, it sort of looked like Love Is Blind was Morton's first real job as a reality star. For Your Information, Carlton Morton previously made an appearance on the Real Housewives of Atlanta where he argued Kenya Moore. Morton served as the assistant of the fellow star of the show, Cynthia Bailey. 

It was an old job though. Since then, Morton has been involved as a social media manager at The Bailey Agency School of Fashion, as evidenced by Netflix. But, Morton, the founder of The Dream Academy also works as an article curator.

Importantly, Morton who also works for The 360 Firm wasn't financially supported by Netflix for his appearance on Love Is Blind. Whatsoever, he can be assumed to have made more than $50,000 so far.
