A couple of years back in 2018, a woman in her late-twenties is approached by Netflix's production team behind Love Is Blind to cast her as one of the contestants on the now-hit reality TV show. Diamond Jack is, of course, taken back by a full surprise. But, with a lot of brief concern, Jack agrees to do the show. If she can find her dream man through a reality dating show, then why not take the chance, Jack thought to herself.

Not to mention, the Chicago born rising TV personality even says on the show: "I want to be with someone who is really going to get to know me for who I am because honestly, my mom didn’t name me Diamond for nothing. She named me Diamond for a reason."

Jack who wanted to find her potent future husband who would make her laugh all the time, got along really well with the fellow contestant, Carlton Morton, that too after just a few blind dates. Diamond even got engaged to the former assistant of Cynthia Bailey from the Real Housewives of Atlanta without ever knowing what he looked like in person.

Needless to mention, Diamond fell in love with Carlton through the emotional connection they developed through communication they had over the pod's walls. But, if only she knew the shocking truth behind Carlton's reality he chose to hide until their Mexico honeymoon. You can pretty just say, things actually went downhill from there.

Carlton Morton Comes Out As A Bisexual Man Shocking Diamond Jack

Morton who serves as a social media manager is someone who has already been romantically linked with men before he met Diamond. But, his sexuality was something Morton was afraid to open up in worries that he might lose Diamond. But, like the sun can't be hidden, Carlton realized he needed to shed the truth of his identity sooner or later.

And, as they sat by the pool before one of their last meets, Morton finally gathers the gut to reveal his truth tearfully, which obviously shocks Jack. As surprised is Jack, she also becomes doubtful of their future. And, the next thing the fans know, Jack and Morton are involved in a huge argument the next day.

Annoyed and hurt with Carlton's behavior who uses humiliating slurs as the 'B' word, Diamond takes off her engagement ring from her finger and throws it on the pool. "Who the f*ck do you think you are" replies Jack to Morton who previously said hateful stuff like: "Watch your wigs cause it keeps sliding." Also, not to mention, Diamond even sang Sorry by Beyonce to cuss at Carlton.

The whole scenario and the discussion by the pool cause a controversial trending of misogyny and homophobia talk on social media. Not to mention, it was later revealed both Jack and Morton received death threats from the fans of Love Is Blind, taking a toll on Carlton's mental health. 

Morton also shared on Twitter that he cried for help for days before a call to 911 was made from his home. Luckily, the cops arrived on time and handled the situation fairly. It's been known that Carlton was admitted for therapy.

Thankfully on the other side, things settled down between Morton and Jack too, as shown by the Love Is Blind Reunion episode.

Carlton Apologizes To Diamond On Love Is Blind Reunion

Both Diamond and Carlton who fought like kids on the last episode they were seen on Love Is Blind surprisingly had a civilized conversation on the Love Is Blind Reunion alongside co-stars, Damian Powers, Giannina Gibelli, Lauren Speed, Cameron Hamilton, Amber Pike, Matt Barnett, Mark Cuevas, Jessica Batten, Kelly Chase and Kenny Barnes.

Carlton appeared more matured as he apologized to Diamond and even got on his knees with the same ring to rekindled their friendship. It was a moment of tears and emotions. However, it was later revealed that Carlton and Diamond had reached out to each other before the reunion and sorted out things between them.

Above all, Diamond is thankful for the lesson she learned from Love Is Blind and still has the biggest heart to wish nothing but the best for Carlton, as she mentioned on her Instagram.

Before Diamond Jack signed up to appear for Love Is Blind, she was already quite popular as she worked as the Basketball dancer for famous NBA groups such as Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks. 

Although Jack, as well as the remaining contestants, were paid dust by Netflix's production team for Love Is Blind as they volunteered to find love through the experiment, the Illinois born rising star still makes a decent earning.
